§ Mr. Charles ClarkeThe National Curriculum sets the framework for teaching in schools, within which individual schools and teachers determine detailed delivery. National Curriculum history includes a number of study units covering British, European and world history. This presents a good deal of scope for schools to teach aspects of history relevant to the backgrounds of ethnic minority communities in the UK.
