§ Ms Glenda JacksonThere are currently no plans to resurface the M25 between junctions 29 and 30. This section of the motorway is structurally sound and will not require major maintenance for some while yet. It is not our policy to resurface in advance of normal maintenance requirements. When resurfacing of this section becomes necessary, the Highways Agency will certainly consider whether a quieter surfacing material should be used in line with the Government's policy announced last year.
