India (Trade Mission)

Mr. Maclean

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will list the business men and women who took part in the recent trade mission to India. [73307]

Mr. Byers

Several British trade missions and exhibitor groups were associated with the recent Indian Engineering Trade Fair. UK Groups from Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Machine Tools Technologies Association, Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, business Link Sandwell and business Link Sussex attended. A full list of companies participating is in the Libraries of both Houses.

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what plans his Department has made for him to lead a trade delegation to India since he took up his present office. [73692]

I hope to visit India later this year and will be accompanied by a business delegation.

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what representations were received by his officials during the recent Indian trade mission about ministerial attendance on that mission. [73287]

No such representation was received by my officials during the recent India trade mission.
