To ask the Secretary of State for International Development if she will list the financial aid from her Department and its predecessor in each of the past 10 years to Southern Africa for(a) education and (b) health projects. [73912]

The Department for International Development (DFID) does not provide financial aid in the form of budgetary support to governments in Southern Africa. Our partnerships in this region fund technical co-operation to build local capacity and make effective use of national resources.

DFID's contribution to education and health over the last ten years in Southern Africa is as follows:
