§ Mr. DewarThe increase in the planned expenditure by Scottish Enterprise between 2000–01 and 2001–02 primarily reflects the phased introduction of a number of new training initiatives announced by the Government last year as part of the New Deal and a re-instatement of provision for the delayed Hyundai project.
From 1 July the funding of Scottish Enterprise will be a matter for the Scottish Parliament.
