§ Lord Macdonald of TradestonThe House will need to consider how to handle Scottish business after devolution. Ministers in the United Kingdom Government will, in general, no longer have responsibility for matters which are within the legislative competence of the Scottish Parliament or the executive competence of the Scottish Ministers. They will continue to answer questions about matters within their responsibility.
