To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, pursuant to his answer of 14 June 1999,Official Report, column 5, relating to sea shipment of MOX fuel, if he will list (a) the dates on which the meetings to which he referred were held and (b) the officials who participated in the meetings. Preparation of the transport plan took place over a period of several years and involved many meetings between officials of the different Governments involved. It would not be possible to provide a detailed list of these meetings without incurring disproportionate cost. The UK officials who participated were drawn from the DTI, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Directorate of Civil Nuclear Security.
