§ Mr. Ian McCartneyThis will depend on how many people can show that they suffered damage as a result of the breach of the Directive. Legal action was brought on behalf of 1,473 people. However, no statement has yet been made of any damage caused to any of them, or the circumstances in which it may have been caused, which could lead to a decision on whether they are due compensation.
