§ Mr. RookerThis is a wholly exceptional and very tragic case, and in the circumstances it would have been heartless not to make an exemption from the quarantine rules.
The power to be used is contained in Article 2(1) of the Animals (Miscellaneous Provisions) Order of 1927 (SR & O 1927, No. 290).
