To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will re-instate the bounty for grey squirrel tails. [85772]

No. We are taking several steps to help landowners protect woodland from the damage caused by grey squirrels. However, we do not consider that a bounty is an appropriate or satisfactory mechanism.
