To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions when he intends to publish the Green Paper on Housing. [92538]

We intend to publish a Housing Policy Green Paper later this year.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions if he will include proposals for a single tenancy for social housing for England and Wales in his Green Paper on Housing. [92539]

There are a wide range of housing policies in need of modernisation, building on the reforms the Government have put in place during our first two years. The Government are considering currently the issues which should be included for consultation in a Housing Policy Green Paper later this year. No decisions have been reached yet.
