To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the reply to the hon. Member for Rochdale (Lorna Fitzsimons) 14 July 1999,Official Report, column 254, if he will explain why the relatives of Mr. Chugtai, a constituent, Mrs. Nighat Yasmin and Mrs. Rehana Ghaffar, were asked to report to the post in Islamabad for an interview 25 working days after lodging the application for visit visas; and if he will make a statement.
