§ Ms Estelle MorrisThe core administrative expenditure of a local education authority is identified on line 1.2.1.1 of the budget statement that all local education authorities are required to publish under section 52 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998. When deciding what to include on this line, a local education authority may deduct from its local schools budget the planned expenditure in relation to the matters described in paragraphs 25(a) to (j) and (1) to (u), 27, 32 and 37 of Schedule 1 to the Financing of Maintained Schools Regulations 1999 (SI 1999 No 101) which were laid before Parliament on 24 January 1999.
