Senator Pinochet is on bail; we understand that he has made private arrangements for his health care.

Whether the Home Secretary is receiving regular medical reports on the health of General Pinochet while detained. [HL599]

Lord Williams of Mostyn

The Home Secretary received medical reports on the health of Senator Pinochet as part of the representations made to him before he took his decision of 9 December to issue an authority to proceed. He has received no medical reports since then.
