To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what plans he has to improve single soldiers' accommodation. [65549]

Mr. Spellar

We have a firm commitment to continue to improve the standard of accommodation for all soldiers. Work is currently underway on a programme of major capital works to deliver these improvements.
