§ Mr. SpellarThe Armed Forces provide appropriate treatment for serving personnel suffering from stress-related illness, including those who served in the South Atlantic Campaign. The Armed Forces also have a range of measures in place aimed at preventing stress-related illness among serving personnel, with particular attention paid to those deployed on operational or peacekeeping duties. Medical care of ex-Service personnel is the responsibility of the National Health Service.
