§ Mr. BoatengI share responsibility for criminal justice policy with my right hon. and noble Friend the Lord Chancellor and my right hon. and Learned Friend the Attorney-General, and relevant matters (including the Access to Justice Bill) are regularly discussed between us. The Bill incorporates a number of measures which are designed to contribute to the Government's policy of making the criminal justice system more efficient and effective.
