§ Mr. Kilfoyle[holding answer 17 December 1998]: The only civil servants who do not have access to an Employment Tribunal are those employed as police constables in the Ministry of Defence Police. In common 94W with other persons in police service, their rights to bring proceedings in an Employment Tribunal are restricted by Section 200 of the Employment Rights Act 1996.
