Mr. Burns

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many patients in the Mid-Essex Hospital NHS Trust area have been waiting(a) 13 to 25 weeks and (b) more than 26 weeks to see a consultant at the latest date for which figures are available. [72154]

I refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave him on 21 January 1999,Official Report, column 185. This provides the latest published figures for outpatient waiting times. Figures for the end of December 1998 will be available from 25 February.
