§ Mrs. BeckettNo staff of the Privy Council Office currently claim car mileage allowances. Any such claims would be payable at a flat rate of 40 pence per mile for the first 4,000 miles in any year and 22.5 pence per mile thereafter. The policy of the department is not to provide higher differential rates for larger capacity engines.
