§ Mr. Rooker[holding answer 4 February 1999]: Commission auditors are responsible for checking that member states have paid CAP subsidies according to the rules and the UK fully supports the Commission in this work. Any sums wrongfully paid by member states have to be repaid by them to the EU budget.
