Mr. Jon Owen JonesThe Department provided funding to health authorities to purchase health care as set out in the following table. NHS trusts receive most of their funding from their local health authority with additional amounts from other health bodies under contracts to provide health care. A table showing the total income of NHS trusts is also provided.
