§ Mr. Wilson[holding answer 26 January 1999]: ECGD does not categorise the sales of defence or other equipment which it supports by reference to the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1994.
I can however advise my hon. Friend that, on the basis of records available, the balance of claims paid by ECGD which are outstanding for recovery in respect of sales of 582W defence and other equipment (including non-lethal goods and services) to defence buyers in the named countries currently stands at:-
