§ Mr. HuttonNo statistics are held centrally on the provision of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanning services in the National Health Service. However we estimate that MRI services are provided by approximately 150 NHS trusts and approximately 50 privately owned scanners are used by NHS patients.
