§ Mr. IngramThe Parades Commission is an independent body which makes decisions in respect of individual parades solely on the basis of the criteria laid down in the Public Processions Act 1998. The legislation also provides that the Secretary of State may, on application by the Chief Constable, review a determination issued by the Commission. For these reasons she did not discuss with the Parades Commission determinations being considered by it.
