I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on 19 November 1998,Official Report, columns 838–39.

The RAF helicopter flight began at Wembley and ended at Kensington Palace. It was the only means by which my right hon. Friend the Deputy Prime Minister could travel from Wembley, where he was presenting the Rugby League Challenge Cup in his capacity as Deputy Prime Minister, to Kensington Palace in time to attend the Privy Council meeting to receive his Seals of Office. He was accompanied by my right hon. Friend the Chief Whip and two members of his family.
