I am replying to your questions to the Secretary of State for Defence about Agency Staff Newsletters as this matter falls within my area of responsibility as Chief Executive of the Joint Air Reconnaissance Intelligence Centre Defence Agency.There were three questions posed concerning the classification, frequency of production and the date of initial issue of the publication.The Joint Air Reconnaissance Intelligence Centre Defence Agency newsletter entitled 'Lynx' is an unclassified document produced as a suggested management aid to the move to Agency status. Its continued production is in support of the communication activity linked to retention of Investors In People accreditation.The publication is produced on a quarterly basis. To date there have been seven editions with issue number eight almost ready to go to press.The first edition was issued in the Autumn of 1996.I hope that the above answers fully the questions posed.Letter from I. The newsletter is distributed internally to all members of staff.Additionally the Training and Personnel Division produce an unclassified monthly newsletter, this was first produced in June 1997, this is distributed monthly to all LISA staff.
