§ Mr. MorleyWild boar may be kept in captivity only under licence, issued by the relevant local authority under the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976 or under the Zoo Licensing Act 1981, as appropriate. Captive wild boar are subject to the same health and veterinary controls as domestic pigs.
