To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many claimants for compensation arising out of vibration white finger have received full settlement in respect of their claims. [58735]

As of 5 November, 1,828 VWF claimants have received full settlements.

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many claimants for compensation arising from vibration white finger fall in the age groups(a) 40 to 50, (b) 50 to 60, (c) 60 to 70, (d) 70 to 80 and (e) 80 years and over. [58726]

To date the numbers of claims received for VWF, for the age groups specified, are:
