§ Mr. Chris SmithWe are regularly in touch with all the National Lottery distribution bodies and are conscious of the demands they are seeking to meet. We are also conscious of the potential for New Opportunities Fund (NOF) has to meet pressing needs in the fields of health, 65W education and the environment. That is why, as well as announcing that NOF will inherit the Millennium stream, we also announced that each of the arts, sport, heritage and charities can plan on an extra £50 million from the Lottery between now and 2001 and that they are each guaranteed 16 per cent. of Lottery revenues from October 2001 onwards.
