The safeguards reports made by all UK nuclear operators, including Dounreay, are in accordance with the procedures set out in Commission Regulation (Euratom) No. 3227/76. Copies of the Regulations are available in the Library of the House.
No facilities at Dounreay are currently designated for inspection by the IAEA.
The detailed information sought on safeguards inspection visits could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
