§ Mrs. RocheThe Export Control Organisation's computer databases have been interrogated and the following results were obtained. Between 2 May 1997 and 3 April 1998, one application for an individual licence covering the export of goods with the rating PL5001 was refused. This was an application for a Standard Individual Export Licence on which the consignee and end-user were both stated to be in Kenya.
This information should be considered in light of my answer to my hon. Friend the Member for Don Valley (Caroline Flint) on 30 October 1997, Official Report, columns 870–71.

§ Mrs. RocheThe Export Control Organisation's computer databases have been interrogated and the following results were obtained. Between 2 May 1997 and 3 April 1998 eight Standard Individual Export Licences (SIELs) and no Open Individual Export Licences (OIELs) were issued covering the export to the specified countries of goods with the rating PL5001. In the same period, no such licences were revoked and no applications for such licences were refused.
