§ Mr. CabornWe are setting up a National Land-use Database which will, for the first time, produce a comprehensive national assessment of the amount of previously-developed land available for re-use. Initial results should be available by January 1999. In addition, many local authorities are currently undertaking housing land capability studies to inform their development plans.
