§ Mr. RaynsfordOur Capital Receipts Initiative has already provided local authorities with an additional £174 million for capital spending on housing and housing related regeneration in 1997–98, and will provide an extra £569 million in 1998–99. Local authorities can choose how best to apply the resources to meet local priorities.
