§ The Minister of State, Ministry of Defence (Lord Gilbert)The MoD protocol for the current programme of immunisation of UK forces in the Gulf region against anthrax stipulates a course of four doses of the UK licensed anthrax vaccine over a period of eight months—at 0, 3, 6 and 32 weeks. My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Defence and my honourable friend the Minister of State for the Armed Forces each received their first dose of anthrax vaccine on 3 March this year and are scheduled to receive the remaining doses at the prescribed intervals.
