§ Ms Glenda Jackson[holding answer 18 March 1998]: In the current financial year the average number of staff employed is 44 at the South Eastern and Metropolitan Traffic Area Office (which includes the London area) and 37 at the Scottish Traffic Area Office. From outturn figures available it is estimated that the salary bill and administrative costs of these offices this financial year will be as follows:
