§ The Prime MinisterDuring the recent Iraq crisis we maintained close contact with all members of the Security Council, including the Chinese.
Security Council Resolution 1154 was adopted unanimously by the Security Council. All members, including China, agreed that further violations of Iraq's obligations under relevant Security Council Resolutions 666W and the Memorandum of Understanding signed in Baghdad would be followed by the severest consequences.
