The Government are involved in a constructive dialogue with the European Commission to examine what financial assistance might be available from the Community budget to help with the Government's information campaign.
The EPU is in regular contact with officials in other finance ministries. The Bank of England is closely involved in the work of the EMI; the Governor of the Bank of England is a member of the EMI Council.
