§ Mr. BoatengWe are not aware of any asylum seekers being transferred by a local authority from London to Wales. If an authority makes arrangements under the National Assistance Act 1948 or the Children Act 1989 to place someone outside its boundaries, the financial responsibility remains with the placing authority.
