§ Mr. Mandelson[holding answer 2 March 1998]: All 29 contracts relating to the building of the Millennium Dome have been put out to competitive tender by the New Millennium Experience Company. Tenders for the contracts were issued between January 1997 and January 1998. The Company received between three and seven responses for each contract.
