§ Mr. Morley[holding answer 29 June 1998]: Genetically modified pigs have been exported by road and air. During this transport they were subject at all times to the provisions of the Welfare of Animals (Transport) Order 1997, paragraph 8 of Schedule 1 of which requires that all means of transport and receptacles must be escape-proof.
