§ Angela EagleI understand from my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary that there are no plans for the United Kingdom to adopt Central European Time. The 1989 Green Paper "Summertime: A Consultation Document" concluded that a move to CET could result in marginal energy savings, but that these would be subject to larger uncertainties.
