§ Dr. ReidThe Defence Military Assistance Fund is a cash fund which is available to subsidise the cost of overseas military assistance in support of defence objectives, including training, loan service personnel and other support activities. It was introduced on 1 April 1996 to replace the Defence Policy Fund and the Defence Sales Fund. The budget allocated for the Defence Military Assistance Fund last year was £10.506 million.
