§ Mr. Fisher[holding answer 1 June 1998]The Government published their plans for the development of an IT Public Libraries Network on 16 April. £70 million of Lottery funding will be made available from the New Opportunities Fund for the development of new digital resources and the provision of ICT training of public library staff, together with £6 million to support the development of infrastructure.
