§ Mr. HoonThe Government intend to bring the remaining provisions of the Defamation Act 1996 (including those which apply to Scotland) into force as soon as reasonably practicable. All those provisions will require secondary legislation to make them fully effective. We will make the necessary amendments to the Rules of Court and other Orders at the same time.
