To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what estimates he has made of the financial savings made by the NHS and Government health agencies as a result of employing external consultants, by year, since 1995. [53754]

Decisions by NHS bodies to employ management consultants, either to identify opportunities for savings or for other purposes, rest with the bodies concerned and information about outcomes of consultancy assignments is not collected centrally.
