To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) how many Scotland supporters were(a) arrested, (b) detained and (c) removed from France by the French authorities during the World Cup; [51994]

(2) if he will list in order of frequency the towns and cities of residence given of the Scottish football fans (a) arrested, (b) detained and (c) removed from France by the French authorities during the World Cup; [51996]

(3) how many members of each official Scottish Football League supporters clubs were (a) arrested, (b) detained and (c) removed from France by the French authorities during the World Cup. [52002]

The number of Scottish fans arrested in France during the World Cup was 6. The number detained and removed from France by the French authorities involved are listed below:Arrests Aberdeen (2), Edinburgh (2), Glasgow (1) and Coatbridge (1). Detained Edinburgh (35), Glasgow (15), Paisley (1), North Berwick (1), Airdrie (1), Harthill (1), Newcastle (1), Kilsyth (1), Kirkintilloch (1) and Milton of Campsie (1).

Information on how many of these individuals are members of official Scottish Football League supporters clubs is not available.

(2) how much was spent by each league club in Scotland on policing of football grounds (a) on average per game and (b) each of the last three years for which figures are available. [52003]
