§ Mr. DewarA recent survey showed that 6 per cent. of employees at my Department's main building at Victoria Quay, Edinburgh cycle to work. Equivalent information is not available for the large number of other employment sites for which my Department and agencies are responsible. We are committed to encouraging Green Transport Plans, including measures to increase the proportion of employees cycling to work, as we explained in our White Paper, "Travel Choices for Scotland" (Cm 4010).
