§ Mrs. LiddellForecasts of tax receipts, including indirect taxes, in 1997–98 and 1998–99 were published in Table B9 of the March 1998 "Financial Statement and Budget Report". However, forecasts of indirect taxes paid per person derived from these figures will not be fully consistent with those given to my hon. Friend the Member for North-East Derbyshire, (Mr. Barnes) by the Director of the Office for National Statistics on 14 July 1998,Official Report, columns 135–36, which were based on data from the Family Expenditure Survey.
