§ Mr. Wilson[holding answer 9 July 1998]: No such research has been commissioned or evaluated by The Scottish Office Education and Industry Department. The content of the Higher Chemistry course was, however, reviewed during the development of the new Higher Still courses in Chemistry, which will be introduced into schools and colleges in Scotland in 1999.
